Grow Seeds Indoors - Week 10 Results

The Coreopsis (pictured) has many buds and is beginning to flower! I can't wait to get them planted in the butterfly garden. They will make a great border.
Plant Hardening
I spent the last 7 days hardening my plants in preparation for transplanting into my butterfly garden. When plant hardening the following steps are recommended:
- Make sure your plants are watered well before exposing them to the environment (bright sun and wind).
- Begin exposing plants to outside environment for 4-6 hours on Day 1 (recommended to keep the plants out of direct sunlight for the first couple of days).
- After exposing the plants to the outside environment, bring them into the garage or back into the house for the remainder of the day and night.
- Add a couple hours of outside environment each day. On Day 3 you can begin exposing the plants to direct sunlight.
